Hi ,I know, I skipped a week! Some of you will probably have noticed, and others won't have - I know I don't notice all my newsletters, I have so many and I imagine you're the same.The same usual excuses, I was sick the week before over Thanksgiving, then got better and celebrated by having a really booze night after a sober month; I was really hungover last Sunday and absolutely not feeling like writing the newsletter. Plus while I was nursing a bad cold I started playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch, got back into after a year long break, and got nearly obsessed with it rather than writing the newsletter.Moreover it's been an interesting week of setbacks: I'd applied for a university degree equivalence programme to basically convert my professional experience into a degree, and learned I was turned down. My last work gig was extended and then suddenly cancelled, so then I thought I'd get some Christmas decorations, wrote a nice letter to Santa, and then proceeded to break my phone's screen. I also lost or forgot my bluetooth earbuds at a concert on Friday night. Interesting week, as I said. Aside from a couple of nice outings, I buried myself into my video game again for the past couple of days (the big strike in France being another excuse to stay at home), though I did go out to see Koyaanisqatsi with live music at the massive UFO looking Paris Philharmonic Hall.
