Cold reading and a grand view of Society [Sundae #150]

Hey ,It's the 150th edition of the Ice Cream Sundae newsletter! It's not a time thing given I have had several breaks, but I guess it's still some kind of milestone, I wrote and sent this thing out 150 times now. Anyhow, I think that's all I actually had to say about that for now. Moving on then.As mentioned last week, I'm still traveling for work (delving deeper into credit card payment systems than I ever though I would, but that's part of the fun of my job sometimes), it's all going well, looking forward to going back home this week. Meanwhile I went to the movies with some of my extra time in the evening. I saw The Lighthouse, a completely bonkers black & white movie with Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson. Absolutely worth seeing (trailer). And I went to see Taika Waititi's latest movie, Jojo Rabbit, a weird, lovely, funny, bittersweet, and sad. World War II in Germany seen through the eyes of a child. Another one worth seeing (trailer).Otherwise I've been writing stuff in preparation for my upcoming regular tabletop roleplaying game session with friends in Paris, I mentioned the surreal fantasy game Invisible Sun previously. I've also been wondering about what I put time and effort into. Nobody really needs to ask me to write stuff for this roleplaying game. Sure my friends are expecting a good gaming session but I know I'm preparing more than I need to.Meanwhile I'm still on a podcast break, my new plans haven't progressed on that front. I also successfully procrastinate writing more content for my website, and detailing services I can provide as a brand strategy consultant for clients. And seeing I've hit 150 newsletter editions, I regularly wonder if I should keep going or stop and do something else. Even though it might sound like it I don't mean as a complaint.I'm just looking at my week, where I spent time, and I find interesting to notice trends there. I spent hours of time on my laptop over my work doing tables, reading rules, and writing bits of random fiction for a gaming session and just did without really thinking about it. And when I get into the zone for the newsletter or the podcast, I just get it done, without worrying too much if I enjoy it. I generally assume that anything I spent a significant amount of time on I must have enjoyed somehow. Don't you think? How about you what's happening in your world? Hit the reply button and tell me! Also if you have idea or suggestions of what I should be doing for this newsletter I'm happy to hear about them. Thanks,Willem
