Inside Rite Liquors, a Glorious Chicago Slashie that Refuses to Die (Thrillist, 7 min read) As mentioned I started looking at a bit of a bucket list of things to do and places to do in Chicago before I move, and came across this article. Slashies are a remnant of another time, blending old school bar and liquor store, there aren't many left in Chicago. Slashie is a Chicago institution and a prime example of how cool they are, and I hope the tradition keeps going on for much longer. Inspiring stories from the owner and the regulars.
