Hammer fun & Peterson [Ice Cream Sundae]

Hey ,Late again this week (or last week, really)! Not that it's any excuse, there are few things slowly bubbling up around Ice Cream central and I'm not sure what shape it's all going to be taking soon... I've just had a great weekend in LA with lots of inspiring conversations with friends and it's kind of doing its work I suppose. I just read this inspiring article from a friend and former colleague's business in Singapore too, he started a skin care company called ANIA, with Moroccan Argan oil as a starting main ingredient. More about this all some time soon. Meanwhile, I have my last ski weekend of the season coming up and I've already booked my season passes and started making preliminary plans for the next ski season. So whatever else might be going on, ski stays on the menu. Thanks!Willem

Weekly Combo Two or three flavours, interesting separately, fascinating together
Jordan Peterson, the obscure Canadian psychologist turned right-wing celebrity, explained (Vox, 20 min read)I first came across Jordan Peterson before moving from London and around the scandal surrounding gender pronouns in Toronto that led to pro and con protests around him, he was a guest on Sam Harris' podcast and I remember listening to the dense and over 2h long conversation (What is True?) while walking around my favorite places in London. They had a second conversation given the first seemed to be going nowhere in no hurry, while the first is interesting I didn't understand everything and the second one seemed more productive (Meaning & Chaos). More recently, Jordan Peterson is even more of a celebrity with his new best selling book '12 Rules for Life'. This article does a great job pulling apart the scholar and psychologist's political views and summarizes a lot of what sounds great about his messages and much of what I find concerning too. Fascinating read.Baffled by conceptual art? So are Will Ferrell and Joel MchHale in this short Museum's film (Adweek, 6 min video & short read)
