The Case for Chaos (blog post / presentation slides, approx. 6-10 min read)The always excellent and silly smart Martin Weigel (Head of planning at W+K Amsterdam) was asked to prepare thoughts for a presentation with the topic: "Is Advertising Radical Enough?"I totally agree with the idea that the question is kind of silly in the first place, given advertising serves, or as Martin put it, enables a system, it probably wasn't ever supposed to be radical whatsoever. Practitioners of advertising later thought, or maybe realized, that creativity could give a competitive advantage. That's not only in advertising though. Definitely worth browsing Martin's slides, you'll find something interesting there even if you don't work in advertising. I'm fairly sure that you're interested in creativity or radical ideas if you're reading this. The mysterious Japanese game that took 14 years to officially come out (Wired, 7 min read)
