Orbiting Jupiter [Ice Cream Sundae]

Hi ,I've had a great and busy week where I'm currently working (Energy BBDO) with teams from offices around the world traveling to Chicago for a creative summit. As a part of it we looked at a number of Cannes Advertising Festival Awards winners, such as this campaign for Ariel detergeant in India, Share the Load, linked below. The team behind the campaign were there, it was great meeting some lovely and smart people from around the world.I'm also really looking forward to the ski season, and geekily watching ski lesson videos.Have fun this week! Best,WillemPS: Voyager orbiting Jupiter looks like an ominous eye.

Weekly Combo Two or three flavours, interesting separately, fascinating together
Ariel Share the Load 2015 case study | 2016 advertising film (Youtube, 2x2 min videos)No particular linkage to the below, and sorry if you work in advertising you've probably seen these before. Still, nice advertising campaign and as I mentioned above it was great meeting the team from Mumbai behind it and how the idea came about. Like many great ideas, they stumbled upon it by chance, at the last minute, and scrapped what they were originally going to do in favor of this. And they took in stages, starting with launching the idea of men sharing household chores in 2015 and once it took in popularity, then apparently invested more money in a 2 minute long advertising video in 2016.Orbiting Jupiter: My Week with Emmanuel Macron (The Guardian, 33 min read)I hadn't read too much about the new French president, this long feature about the man is fascinating. The author doesn't particularly answer the main questions posited, though explores many facets to try and give clues around what is he up to, what are his intentions and will he succeed... Really interesting feature.
