Hi ,As many articles are pointing as well, already half of 2017 has gone by, July is up and my birhtday is around the corner. As Facebook is reminding me with memory photos, I was here in Chicago on vacation a year ago, and couldn't have predicted I'd be living here a year later. As I'm tending to a little bit of nostalgia, I thought I'd share this article identifying what they're calling a micro-generation between Generation X and Millennials that I'd be a part of, with traits sorts of belonging to both and neither for all the people born while the original Star Wars trilogy movies were released. I'm not sure how scientific it all is though some of it certainly resonates with me.There's Now a Name for the Micro-Generation Born Between 1977-1983

Munchies Chef's Night Out is one of my sister's favourite shows, she sent me a couple of episodes featuring restaurants in Chicago. If you're not familiar with the concept they pick a chef from a restaurant, and go on a night out with his friends, checking out some of their favourite current food and drinks spots. If you're not in Chicago check out a few episodes nearer where you live perhaps? I've listed all the places there and am looking forward to checking them out!Chef's Night Out in Chicago with Honey Butter Fried Chicken

What's sticky in the communications industry?
Not exactly the industry though certainly enlightening about communication and listening, I caught up with this episode of the Love+Radio podcast from a few months ago, and this was a part two.In The Silver Dollar we are introduced to Daryl Davis and his story, a fascinating character, a black musician who started making friends with and listening to white supremacists and members of the Ku Klux Klan.In the more recent episode titled "How to Argue" Daryl talks about the principles guiding the kinds of conversations he has, how to successfully navigate arguments. Highly recommended.Love+Radio: The Silver DollarLove+Radio: How to Argue

What's going on in gaming?
The Game Chef competition just launched a couple of days ago! The community base game design competition takes inspiration from the popular Iron Chef TV show.Every year the Game Chef competition challenges game designers to create a new game with a given brief including a theme, four ingredients to use, and 10 days to develop the new game in before submission. Once submitted, games are reviewed by fellow participants in the competition so that everyone gets feedback about their game. This year's theme is borders. Game submissions are asked to explore borders and boundaries in different shapes and forms. The four ingredients are Yarn, Echo, Smoke, and Cut.Game Chef 2017

What else is interesting this week?
I was very excited to find a new reason to visit Japan again: they are building a Super Nintendo theme park! The first photos of the park in construction were published online. Park planned opening for 2020.First Photos From Super Nintendo World EmergeFor those in the US, have a fantastic 4th July weekend!
