Best of the past week
Hey , I've been exploring and enjoying the Mile-high City for the past week, with the weather changing from cold and snowing to a balmy and sunny 20ºC the past few days. I first had to deal with a phone connection breakdown, figuring out that the OnePlus 3 smartphone I've only bought a few months ago exists in different a European and North American models that don't work on the same frequencies. So my phone works for the phone network but mobile data doesn't. I thought I'd mention it in case you're considering a OnePlus 3 it's worth knowing that it's not a great phone for travellers.Denver seems to be lovely booming town with a nice atmosphere, quickly turning into a city. The views of the foothill and Rocky Mountains in the distance are pretty dramatic, and I'm looking forward to heading that way to Vail for a few days of skiing!Otherwise this week's most interesting read comes from my friend Adam, a fascinating long read about skeptics spending much debunking myths and looking into an idea considering that established knowledge had a tendency to decay over time.Enjoy: "Who will debunk the debunkers"

What's sticky in the communications industry?
In this article, nomad brand strategist Faris Yakob makes several compelling points about everything becoming PR (Public Relations) these days.Faris and his wife Rosie are pretty awesome, they work and travel together under the name Genius Steals, and also publish an excellent weekly email newsletter.

What's going on in gaming?
A few different friends are supporting this interesting collaborative tabletop storytelling game project on Kickstarter: Companion Tales. In this game four players incarnate the companions of a typical kind of fantasy hero on a quest, and as the story unfolds created and told from the perspective of the companions, players also draw and create a map of the journey they are on. It sounds pretty cool to me, I'd quite like to try it out!

What else is interesting this week?
I've also been spending organising the next part of my trip this past week, revising plans somewhat and looking into taking Amtrak's California Zephyr train to Chicago. It's supposed to be one of the most beautiful scenic train routes, crossing the Sierra Nevada Mountains and then the Rockies. Till next week!CheersWillem
